Welcome to Questaholic. These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the Questaholic app, website, and related services (together, the "Platform"). By creating an account or using Questaholic in any way, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not create an account or use the Platform.

These Terms are a first draft prepared for Questaholic and are intended for review by qualified legal counsel. They are not legal advice and do not guarantee compliance with any particular law.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By creating an account, logging in, posting a Quest, accepting a Quest, sending messages, earning or spending in-app coins, or otherwise using Questaholic, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms and any additional policies or guidelines referenced in them. If you are using Questaholic on behalf of a business, you represent that you have authority to bind that business.

2. About Questaholic

Questaholic is a community marketplace and platform that connects people who need help with video games and online activities with players who are willing to provide that help. Tasks posted on the Platform are called "Quests." Questaholic's current focus is gaming and online assistance — coaching, walkthroughs, boss and dungeon help, build advice, strategy, training, teammate and co-op help, and game knowledge. Quests may be completed online (remotely) or, where relevant, locally. The original Questaholic concept — a local marketplace for real-world neighborhood tasks — is preserved and may be offered again in the future.

Questaholic provides the marketplace infrastructure — profiles, Quest listings, game and platform selection, messaging, in-app Coin Sack rewards, reputations, and related tools. Questaholic is generally not the person performing each Quest. The actual assistance is arranged directly between users. Questaholic facilitates the connection and provides tools, but it is not an employer, contractor, or agent of any user, and it is not affiliated with or endorsed by any video game publisher.

3. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old (or the age of legal majority in your jurisdiction) to create an account and use Questaholic's marketplace features unless Questaholic expressly enables a different age policy permitted by applicable law. By using the Platform you represent that you meet these requirements and are legally able to enter into binding agreements.

4. User Accounts

You are responsible for your account and for all activity that occurs under it.
You must provide accurate, current information when creating and updating your profile.
You must keep your login credentials secure and confidential.
You may not impersonate another person or use another person's identity without permission.
You may not create fraudulent, duplicate, or fake accounts.
You may not transfer or sell your account to another person.
Questaholic may restrict, suspend, or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or applicable policies.

5. Quests

A Quest is a request posted by a user ("Quest Poster") that another user ("Quester") may offer to complete. Users may post Quests describing the game, platform, and kind of help they need, and may browse and offer to complete Quests that fit their skills and schedule. A Quest may offer an in-app Coin Sack reward, free help, or simply look for a teammate.

Quest descriptions, game, platform, compensation, timing, and any location must be accurate and truthful.
You may not post Quests that are prohibited, fraudulent, dangerous, illegal, or that violate these Terms, applicable law, or the terms of service of the relevant game.
You are responsible for ensuring that any assistance you request or provide does not violate the rules or terms of service of the game it involves.
Quest Posters and Questers are responsible for agreeing on the scope and terms of a Quest before work begins.
Questaholic does not guarantee that any Quest will be completed, that any in-app reward will be earned, or that any Quest Poster will be satisfied.

6. User-to-User Quest Arrangements

Questaholic connects users, but Quests are arranged directly between users. Quest Posters are responsible for describing Quests accurately. Questers are responsible for completing Quests as agreed and communicating honestly. Where a Quest offers a Coin Sack reward, the reward is an in-app platform benefit rather than cash compensation.

You should communicate clearly, honor agreed-upon arrangements, and act in good faith.

7. Coin Sack and In-App Currency

Questaholic uses a virtual currency displayed as copper, silver, and gold in a user's Coin Sack. The conversion is 100 copper = 1 silver and 100 silver = 1 gold. The underlying balance is measured in copper base units.

Coin Sack currency is for use inside Questaholic only.
Coins have no cash value and are not legal tender.
Coins cannot be cashed out, withdrawn, exchanged for money, or redeemed through Cash App, a bank, or another payout service.
Questaholic does not sell Coin Sack currency for cash through wallet top-ups.
Coins may be earned through eligible Quest activity, received through in-app tips, spent on eligible in-app features, or adjusted by Questaholic when required to correct errors or enforce platform rules.
Questaholic may modify coin earning rules, spending rules, denominations, or feature availability with appropriate notice.

8. No Cashouts or Coin Purchases

The former Questaholic wallet, add-cash feature, and cashout system have been retired. Users should not send money to another user because of a Coin Sack balance, and Questaholic will not process a request to convert Coin Sack currency into real-world money.

9. In-App Coin Fees

Questaholic's current in-app coin fee structure, if any, is displayed in the app. Questaholic may introduce, change, or remove Coin Sack fees or reward rules in the future with appropriate notice. Where an in-app coin fee applies, it will be disclosed in the Platform.

10. Cancellations, Disputes and Coin Adjustments

A Quest may be cancelled by the Quest Poster or Quester according to the Platform's cancellation rules.
If a Quest is not completed as agreed, users should attempt to resolve the issue directly first.
Coin-reward disputes may be raised through the Platform's support and safety tools.
Questaholic may review disputes and make reasonable Coin Sack adjustments according to its policies, but it does not guarantee any particular outcome.

11. User Conduct

You agree not to engage in any of the following:

Fraud, scams, or deceptive practices.
Harassment, threats, abuse, or hate-based conduct toward others.
Illegal activity of any kind.
Spam, impersonation, or platform manipulation.
Fake or coordinated reviews or reputation manipulation.
Coin farming, exploiting reward systems, manipulating Coin Sack balances, or attempting to circumvent in-app fees or controls.
Abuse of the reporting, blocking, or moderation systems.
Attempting to bypass account restrictions, suspensions, or bans.
Distributing malware or launching attacks against Questaholic.
Any conduct that could harm Questaholic, its users, or third parties.

12. Prohibited Quests

Certain Quests are not allowed on Questaholic, including but not limited to Quests that involve:

Illegal activities or goods.
Dangerous activities that risk serious harm.
Fraud or deception.
Anything that violates applicable law.
Prohibited, restricted, or regulated goods or services.
Tasks intended to harm or exploit another person.
Tasks involving abuse, exploitation, or trafficking.
Cheating, hacks, aimbots, wallhacks, mod menus, spoofers, or other unauthorized game-modifying software.
Selling, buying, sharing, or stealing game accounts, or accessing another user's account.
Credential theft, phishing, keyloggers, malware, or hacking tools.
DDoS, doxxing, or attacks against other users, games, or services.
Exploits, duplication glitches, or game-breaking bugs intended to gain an unfair advantage.
Match fixing, win trading, or real-money gambling.
Boosting or rank services that violate the relevant game's terms of service.
Real-money trading of in-game currency, items, or assets where prohibited.
Any other category Questaholic determines is unsafe, inappropriate, or in violation of a game's rules.

This list is not exhaustive. Questaholic may update prohibited categories and remove or reject Quests at its discretion.

13. Safety

Your safety is important, but Questaholic cannot guarantee the safety of every interaction. Many Quests are completed online and remotely, so you are not required to meet in person. When a Quest is local or involves meeting, you are responsible for exercising appropriate judgment, including:

Meeting in safe, public locations when possible.
Communicating through the Platform's messaging tools.
Avoiding sharing unnecessary sensitive personal or financial information, and never sharing your game or account login credentials.
Respecting the rules and terms of service of the games you play.
Reporting suspicious or harmful behavior.
Contacting emergency services when necessary.

Questaholic does not guarantee that any user is trustworthy or that any Quest will be safe or successful.

14. User Content

You may post text, images, videos, Quest descriptions, comments, reviews, and other content. You retain whatever rights you legally have in your content. By posting content on Questaholic, you grant Questaholic a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to host, store, display, reproduce, process, distribute, and otherwise operate on that content as needed to run the Platform. You represent that you have the rights to post your content and that it does not violate these Terms or any third party's rights.

15. Content Moderation

Questaholic may remove, hide, restrict, or lock content, comments, or accounts when appropriate under these Terms or applicable policies. Moderation decisions may be based on safety, fraud, abuse, illegal activity, policy violations, or platform integrity. Questaholic may also investigate reports and take action against accounts that violate these Terms.

16. Reporting

Users can report posts, comments, Quests, or other users through the Platform's reporting tools where available. Users must not abuse the reporting system. False, malicious, or bad-faith reporting may result in account restrictions.

17. Blocking and Muting

Questaholic may provide tools such as block, mute, hide, and "not interested." These tools affect your own experience on the Platform and do not necessarily remove content for everyone. They are not a substitute for reporting serious violations.

18. Reputation and Reviews

Questaholic includes ratings, reviews, and reputation features. You must not manipulate ratings, reviews, reputation, or Quest completion history. Fake reviews, coordinated rating manipulation, and reputation abuse are prohibited and may result in account restrictions and removal of manipulated content.

19. Guilds

Questaholic may offer Guild features that allow users to form teams or groups. Guilds may have additional rules and settings managed by their members. Users remain responsible for their own conduct within Guilds. Questaholic is not responsible for the internal arrangements of a Guild or for disputes between Guild members beyond its standard moderation and safety tools.

20. Intellectual Property

Questaholic, its branding, logos, app and site design, software, and content created by Questaholic are owned by or licensed to Questaholic. You may not copy, exploit, reverse engineer, or misuse Questaholic's intellectual property except as expressly permitted by these Terms or applicable law.

21. Third-Party Services

Questaholic may integrate with third-party services for optional features such as authentication, media, communications, or separate subscriptions. Your use of those services may also be subject to their own terms and policies. Questaholic does not control third-party services and is not responsible for their availability, actions, or policies.

22. Account Suspension and Termination

Questaholic may suspend or terminate accounts when appropriate, including for:

Violations of these Terms.
Fraud, Coin Sack abuse, or reward manipulation.
Abuse, harassment, or safety concerns.
Illegal activity.
Repeated or serious violations.
Platform manipulation.

After termination, you may lose access to certain features, including access to Coin Sack currency. Coin Sack currency is not a user deposit account and does not create a right to a cash payout.

23. Disclaimers

Questaholic is provided subject to applicable law. Questaholic does not guarantee that:

Every Quest will be completed or successful.
Every user is trustworthy or who they claim to be.
Every interaction will be safe.
The Platform will always be available or error-free.
Third-party services integrated with Questaholic will always work.

24. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Questaholic and its operators will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for loss of profits or data, arising out of or related to your use of the Platform. Questaholic's total liability for claims arising from these Terms or your use of the Platform is limited to the maximum extent permitted by applicable law. This section is intended to be reviewed by legal counsel and adjusted to comply with the laws of Questaholic's applicable jurisdiction.

25. Indemnification

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, you agree to indemnify and hold Questaholic harmless from claims, damages, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of your violation of these Terms, your misuse of the Platform, your user content, your interactions with other users, or your illegal or unauthorized conduct.

26. Dispute Resolution

Questaholic intends to resolve disputes fairly and informally where possible. The specific governing law, jurisdiction, arbitration requirements, and class-action treatment for Questaholic will be determined and added here after review by qualified legal counsel based on Questaholic's actual legal jurisdiction and business structure. Until then, disputes will be handled according to applicable law and Questaholic's reasonable discretion.

Requires owner/legal input: The governing law, jurisdiction, and any arbitration or class-action provisions must be confirmed by Questaholic's legal counsel before launch.

27. Changes to the Terms

Questaholic may update these Terms from time to time. The Effective Date and Last Updated date at the top of this document reflect the current version. When material changes occur, Questaholic will make an effort to notify users through the Platform. Continued use of Questaholic after a material change constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms, and Questaholic may require users to acknowledge updated Terms where appropriate.

28. Privacy

Questaholic's handling of personal information is described separately in the Questaholic Privacy Policy, where available. These Terms do not duplicate the Privacy Policy. If a Privacy Policy is published, it is incorporated by reference. Where no Privacy Policy is yet published, Questaholic will handle information consistent with applicable law and the Platform's actual data practices.

For questions, support, or notices regarding these Terms, you can reach Questaholic through the in-app Contact page. Formal legal contact information (legal entity name, address, and designated contact) will be published here once configured by Questaholic's administrators.
